Location of the Bendigo Technical Education College
The footprint of the college extends to regional centres including Echuca, Castlemaine, and Maryborough. The main campus is centrally located in Bendigo at 27 St Andrews Ave.
Australian School Based Apprenticeship (ASBAs)
All students enrolled at the Bendigo Technical Education College will be engaged in an Australian School Based Apprenticeship (ASBA). Students entering the College will have completed Year 10. An ASBA is a part time apprentice who works for you a minimum of 50 days per year, attends trade school and continues at secondary college.

To ensure work ready and motivated apprentices, our students will learn skills valuable to your business – work ethic, customer service, numeracy and literacy skills, project management and quoting skills.
Training can be accommodated around workplace demands
The BTEC will co-ordinate your apprentice’s training so that it’s flexible and tailored to your needs
The BTEC will manage most of the administration work involved
A Liaison Officer will work with you to ensure the success of your apprentice
Up to $5,500 of employer incentives may be available from the Government for employing ASBAs
Adding Value to Apprentices’ Skills
BTEC has a total focus on apprenticeships and working in partnership with employers. The BTEC will provide your apprentice with additional skills training to assist your apprentice to be more productive in the following ways:
