Apprenticeships at the Australian Technical College – Bendigo The College has being established as a new, non-government school, located in the Bendigo region and provides access to students from the surrounding region including Echuca, Rochester, Kyabram, Bendigo, Castlemaine and Maryborough. ATC – Bendigo is an Australian Government initiative providing education and training for young people taking up careers in traditional trades where skills shortages exist. Skills Shortage Areas –
What students achieve – While undertaking their Australian School-Based Apprenticeship at the Certificate lll level, Year 11 and Year 12 students will be able to complete the Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) or Victorian Certificate of Applied Learning (VCAL). ATC – Bendigo will also teach Certificate II Business as VET in VCE, the employability skills to support their trade training, and YMCA Youth Leadership Program.
